These terms govern GatherRoll, a private event-camera service operated by Binary Data Technology. By creating a roll, joining one, or submitting a photo, you agree to these terms and the community rules below.
Who may use GatherRoll
You must be at least 13 to use GatherRoll. If local law requires a higher age or permission from a parent or guardian, that requirement applies. Hosts are responsible for choosing an appropriate audience and obtaining any event or venue permissions.
Private event access
A roll link is a private credential. Do not post it publicly or forward it outside the invited group. Hosts may rotate a link, close capture, block a participant, remove a photo, or delete a roll. Access to an album begins only after the scheduled reveal and follows the host’s visibility setting.
Your photos and permission
You keep ownership of photos you submit. You give Binary Data Technology a limited permission to store, process, resize, display, export, and delete them only as needed to provide and protect the roll. You must have permission to photograph and share every person shown, including any required parent or guardian consent.
Community rules
Do not upload or share content that is illegal, sexually exploitative, non-consensual, threatening, hateful, harassing, violently graphic, deceptive, invasive of privacy, infringing, spam, or intended to expose another person’s private information. Never use GatherRoll to exploit or endanger a child. Do not impersonate another person, bypass access controls, automate abuse, probe private links, interfere with the service, or upload malware.
Reporting, blocking, and moderation
Invited viewers can report a revealed photo, and hosts can block participants and remove photos. Binary Data Technology may review reports, restrict access, preserve limited evidence when required, remove content, or suspend an account to protect users or comply with law. Reports are targeted for review within 24 hours, but urgent danger should be reported to local emergency services.
Launch service and charges
The launch version offers a complete roll for up to five guests. It contains no advertising and no paid billing. If paid capacity or advertising is introduced later, the app, listing, privacy disclosures, and these terms will be updated before that feature is offered.
Availability and responsible use
Network, browser, camera, storage, or processing failures can delay a capture or reveal. GatherRoll exposes recovery status where possible, but you should not use it as the only copy of an irreplaceable photo. Do not rely on the service for emergencies, surveillance, legal evidence, or safety-critical records.
Ending access and deletion
You may stop using the service at any time. Hosts can request roll or account deletion. A verified deletion request is scheduled for permanent execution after a seven-day delay. Binary Data Technology may restrict access for a serious or repeated violation while preserving only the records needed for security, fraud prevention, dispute handling, or legal obligations.
Changes and contact
Material changes will be dated on this page. Continued use after an effective change means the updated terms apply. Questions or appeals can be sent to binarydatatechnology151@gmail.com without including private links or photos.
