GatherRoll support

Get back to the moment.

For help, email binarydatatechnology151@gmail.com. Include the event name, your role, the approximate time, and the error wording. Never send an invitation link, sign-in code, private photo, or capability value.

A roll link does not open

Ask the host for the newest link. Links can be rotated, and an event may be full or closed. Open the link directly in Chrome or Safari rather than an in-app social browser. A valid GatherRoll link uses HTTPS on the official GatherRoll site.

The camera will not start

Open the invitation in Chrome or Safari, make sure the page uses HTTPS, and allow camera access when asked. If another app is using the camera, close it and retry. The phone-camera fallback still works when live capture does not, but your phone may show the photo before it returns to GatherRoll.

A shot is waiting to upload

Keep this browser tab and invitation available. GatherRoll stores the pending shot only on this device and retries when the network returns. Use “Retry now” in the upload status. A retry reuses the same capture identity and must not consume a second shot.

The album is not ready

The reveal follows the event timezone and the server clock. Processing photos may arrive after the first ready set; broken photos are never displayed as blank tiles.

Report a photo or participant

Open a revealed photo and choose “Report photo,” or ask the host to block a participant. Choose the reason that best explains the problem. Reports are acknowledged in the service and reviewed with a target response time of 24 hours. For immediate danger, contact local emergency services.

Export or delete data

Hosts can request an account export or account deletion from Settings and can request deletion from a roll’s details. Account deletion is also available through the web request instructions. Verified deletion requests are scheduled with a seven-day execution delay.
