GatherRoll

Account and data deletion

You control when your roll ends.

This page is the public deletion resource for GatherRoll, operated by Binary Data Technology. Hosts can request deletion in the app or by email. Guests do not create a named account; they can ask the host to remove event content or report a photo after reveal.

Delete in the host app

Open GatherRoll, sign in, choose Settings, then choose “Delete my account.” To delete one event instead, open that roll and choose “Request roll deletion.” Review the confirmation carefully before submitting.

Request deletion on the web

Email binarydatatechnology151@gmail.com from the address used for the host account. Use the subject “GatherRoll account deletion request” and include the event name if you are requesting deletion of one roll. Do not include a sign-in code, invitation link, capability value, or private photo.

Verification and timing

Support may ask for a safe account-verification step before acting. After verification, GatherRoll records the request and schedules permanent deletion after a seven-day delay. There is no self-service cancellation control, so review the request carefully before submitting it. After execution, recovery is not promised.

Data deleted

An account request covers the host account and profile, owned event rules and invitations, guest aliases and consent records attached to those events, any temporary upload source still present, sanitized album and thumbnail copies, reports and moderation state, and queued export or deletion jobs. A roll-only request covers the corresponding event data.

Data that may be retained

Binary Data Technology may retain the minimum records required for security, fraud prevention, dispute handling, or legal obligations, and may keep non-identifying operational records that cannot reasonably be linked back to the account. Google-controlled authentication or device records follow Google’s own retention responsibilities.

Guest photo concerns

Open a revealed photo and use “Report photo” for privacy, lack of consent, or another listed reason. If the album is not available, contact the host or email support with the event name and approximate time. Do not attach the photo or private roll link.
